Happy adding to my list 1 new show.

May - Billy Ray Cyrus

June - Brian Setzer

June - Sugar Ray!!!!

Well Brian's show this past Fri. night was awesome as usual.  One of my favorite guitarist after Rick.  Had a VIP table we shared with a nice couple from Seattle, after the show we all went to The Foundation Room on the 63rd fl. to take in the magnificent view.

I just noticed when reading the latest weekly mag, that Sugar Ray will be playing the Go Pool, so that's where I'll be going!!  I've seen Sugar Ray numerous times & love Mark McGrath!  Always a fun show.  Wonder if Murph will be sporting his Cheap Trick T-Shirt, I've seen him wear it at a few shows I've seen over the years & actually ran into Mark & Stan at a CT show years ago at the HOB in CA.  Ooh I can't wait!!  Thinking about seeing Everclear, possibly Blondie w/Garbage if I can get decent seats & Steve Martin with Martin Short, (2 Amigos in July)!!!  We'll see.

Hope everyone has a great summer concert series ahead.

Adding a new show....tomorrow!

May - Billy Ray Cyrus

June - Brian Setzer

June - Sugar Ray

July - Garbage & Blondie

Just got floor seats for Blondie tomorrow night.  I believe this is my 6th time seeing Blondie, last time being 7 years ago.

Sugar Ray put on a good show, was surprised that only 2 original members, Mark being one of them & Rodney are left.  Finally after all these years had a chance to shake Mark's hand, got two guitar picks from Rodney Sheppard & even was thrown a new Corona hat.  LOL

More than likely passing on Everclear next weekend, cause the Go Pool scene, really isn't my cup of tea anymore, too many young drunks & the temps have just been super hot to stand in a large crowd.  Still going to try to see Steve Martin & Martin Short & probably Jerry Seinfeld & hoping to get a Cheap Trick show in, later in the summer.

That's it for now.  Rolleyes

I've mentioned Dan Baird and Homemade Sin. I'd recommend you all get to see them (Check em out on youtube) Warren Hodges on guitar is amazing and part of Jason & The Scorchers (cheap trick fans). His signature swing of the guitar over the shoulder and not miss a note is Brilliant!

Went to a new show last night.  Got 2nd row center seats for Steve Martin/Martin Short & The Steep Canyon Rangers.  It was truly an amazing show & I was so happy I finally was able to witness their greatness in person.  If you get a chance, go see this remarkable show.  Sooooo funny & the Steep Canyon Rangers were awesome.

I'm seeing Dwight in August. Really thrilled and excited to see him for the first time. I listen to him a lot, on CD's I've picked up at flea markets and used record stores. Just love him. I never see his set lists anywhere, so I am hoping for IWYTWM!
Also, in the past week I saw The Who and Cheap Trick, so I am on cloud 9 from seeing my two favorite bands in one week.
If I never loved, I never would have cried.
