RE: The Osmonds.
Donny has traced his family tree and discovered The Osmonds hail from Wales.
Donny's family can be traced back to Merthyr Tydfil as far back as 1585. Many of them were involved in running Merthyr Steelworks, and one of his ancestors, Dr John Martin, was chief surgeon at the works, and saved hundreds of lives.

Well, for those of you that play the "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" game where Kevin Bacon is somehow connected to EVERYBODY....
1. The Osmond family had a Xmas special back in about 1980 and Greg Evigan was a guest star.
2. Greg Evigan starred in a tv show called "My two dads" with Paul Reiser.
3. Paul Reiser was in the film "Diner" which also starred Kevin Bacon.

See Donny and Kevin are connected, it works everytime.

Heh, and ya gotta love Donny Osmond's participation in Weird Al's "White and Nerdy"!

And you're so right, jigittes. It's frightening how the "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" works. When I was in high school, a bunch of us were half-assed pretending to run laps during gym class and talking about that, and we realized we were only 3-4 degrees away. My friend's mom used to work in catering in California before they moved here, and she'd catered a movie set where Kevin Bacon was working....so that was "kind of" a connection at 3, but she was good friends with one of the extras in the show who worked a lot with Kevin...so 4. The man is everywhere!
Or if you want to vote for Mr. Potato Head as a write in, well...he's an extremist. He's extremely non-human.

I used to like The Osmonds, until little Donny came of age and released that awful "Puppy Love" single !
My girlfriend at the time gave me a 45 of that song - uggghhh !

I was spared the sappy relationship when my family moved to another town . . . .
:p

Does that mean only Les will be an original member? All the Scottish boys are not playing nicely together again by the sounds of that name?

Well Alan had a stroke and his brother Derek was convicted of possessing child pornography(believe it or not he's currently a nurse at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary).
Eric played solo at this years Glastonbury and Woody is a music producer.

the osmonds song "crazy horses" in a word: rocks
Do not believe me? If you can get past Jay doing the funky chicken as he sings- you will hear a great forgotten song of the 70's.

the Osmonds- Crazy Horses on YouTube

just my two cents-
