Uh, other.

The Beatles, hands down were the coolest thing to happen to music, ever. From their moptop beginnings to the psychedelic days and beyond, their impact was felt in music, thought, fashion, and politics, which was unprecedented before or since for a rock and roll band.

And the beat was good too! Big Grin

I'm not sure how MC5, Strawberry Alarm Clock and Janis Joplin all make the options over The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Rolling Stones, The Who, etc.

The Beatles, of course, but I like just about any band/artist from the 60s - it is my favorite time period in music, after all!

Pink Floyd.

FYI, Elvis started his career in the 1950's, not the 60's.
