I voted for Queensryche's Operation:mindcrime. It is just freaking brilliant. Unlike the opinion of another poster, I thought Operation:mindcrime II was also pretty good.

Yes, I agree. I used to listen to Frank Zappa a lot and Joe's Garage is a classic.
Alice Cooper "Goes To Hell" however, proves that even the best can get it wrong.

A lot of great albums listed by all posters. Quoted this to say I actually like AC Goes To Hell.
