Dream Date ~ Which Cheap Trick Band Member Do You Choose?

RE: Dream Date ~ Which Cheap Trick Band Member Do You Choose?
Why you want to pick just one?

This would be a knockoff the bachelor or bachelorette. In order of the poll.

I would hope to do something that they enjoy. Just guessing I got this right.

Bun E. - Early morning bass fishing, a good lunch, and spend the rest of the afternoon looking at his amazing drum collection. For the evening sitting in watching Bun E what he does best - play the drums at some night club.

Rick - Visit some record collection convention and watch him give me a magical mystery tour on music history of the 60's & early 70's. Lunch at my house making spicy chicken wings and real BBQ, visiting the great Southwest Korina Forest or some other Guitar collection, have Karen join us for dinner to discuss the whole Rick's Picks event - "I am sure it was all her idea and she gave Rick a choice; either get some of your friends to organize this and put it on display or you are going to be the next "celebrity guest" on Hoarders on A&E." The problem with a dream date with Rick is that it would never be a serious conversation, his wit and humor are non stop. Entertaining but you not sure if and when he is pulling your leg.

Robin - Whatever he wants. I don't golf so I would have to drive the beer, er I mean golf cart. We would finish up at hole 19.

Tom - Again, whatever Tom would like to do. I think it would be interested to see a day in a life of Tom.

Daxx - Kinda lost on this one as well. Daxx is the age of my kids so it would kind of hard to not get past the whole parenting thing...Not sure it would be Daxx's idea of a dream date.

I promise not to have any of them dress up as sheep. Big Grin

Looks like Robin is winning the poll. But, not by a landslide like I thought he may. Love all the dream date ideas Smile

HA!! Love this!

Just don't forget your guacamole for Rick's dinner, and we'll take care of the golf day with RZ! Big Grin

"Why not? "

I remember a comment made Robin when he saw the Live at Budokan Album he said something like; "we look like sheep." I think he wasn't too happy with the photo.

I just didn't want Robin to have any more nightmares...and then you go and have to remind him!
"HA!! Love this! "

OK, if they come its a deal! We'll make it a "double date" then or a quad date if they all show up.

SWM, so I wouldn't want a "date" with any of them. Since I'm a golfer, playing 18 at the Augusta National with RZ would be a pretty damn good afternoon.

Of course he plays golf. He lives in Florida. I'm from Florida and there are a few unwritten rules. Knowing how to play golf is one of them along with: Knowing how to keep your lawn nice. Don't swim in the mangroves. Skin so Soft is a bug repellent. Get out of the water when the bait fish are jumping because something big could chasing them. Swim sideways to get out of a rip-tide. That silly rhyme about coral snakes (Which I can't think of, but, it's ok because I live in Minnesota at the moment and there are no coral snakes). You need to know how to make at least two different boat drinks. Aligators are not slow...they are very fast. You are more likely to be eaten by an aligator than a shark. And, don't wear your Georgia Bulldogs t-shirt once you cross the state line. Lol! ;p

Like my new avatar? Lol. Golf is a humbling game, yet I persist in the folly of trying to play :-)

Ha! I forgot some. Those itsy-pitsy lil red ants are called fire ants for a reason. They will hurt you far worse than that spider as big as your hand or, that 5in. cockroach or, that lizard climbing up your wall. A screaming pelota is not a bird. It is a ball used in Jai a-lai. And, that is pronounced high-lie not jay-a-lay. And yes, you take your life in your hands running around in Georgia Bulldogs atitire. Infact, it borders on suicidal. Lol! ;p

Lol! Yep! For me it is more like a big croquet game. Lol! I never could figure out how people could sit and watch golf on TV until I started playing. But, I believe it is because you are just stunned and awed at how the h*ll they can do what they do once you have tried to do it yourself. Lol! And, I am from the West Palm Beach/Miami area. It is more like Baja New York. Lol!

Then of course you know that most of North Florida is South Georgia, and the Jacksonville Bulldawg Club is more numerous the the Gator Club.
Until around Orlando, there are many, many UGA alumni and fans. Nearly every Vet.on Florida graduated from UGA's School of Veterinary Science Big Grin. I was born in Brevard County in lived in Merritt Island, Lotus, to be specific, until 4th grade. So I actually have more relatives in Baja Georgia than Norte Georgia.

Hmmmmm. I don't think I ever knew that. Although, I would agree North Florida could be South Georgia. Where I came from we more or less did not look at things in a North South context, but, more of a Gulf side/Atlantic side kind of thing. But, Florida is huge and sufffers from the worse case of multiple personalities of anywhere I have lived. It is like a state with six states of it's own. Lol! And, I am more of a Hurricanes/Seminoles fan. Bobby Bowden was the man. My neck of the woods people tended to either love or hate the Gators except when they played Georgia. My vet went to Florida State and I have no idea where any other vets went to school. And, I probably would not even known that except my dog had spinal myopathy and he got her into some program his old roomate was working on at the time at Florida state. And, I do not know how old you are but back when I was younger, and in South Florida, you were a rarity if you were actually born in the state of Florida. I was born in Michigan myself. I do not imagine that is true anymore. However, just about everyone I knew came from somewhere else. So, a lot of people were either Seminoles/Hurricanes/Gator fans and fans of some place like Ohio State for instance. But, I do not recall any Bulldog fans at all. Lol! And, I hope you know I am just giving you a hardtime out of fun. I am incorrigible and saw that Bulldogs avatar aaaaannnd just could not resist. Wink
